The Dollar General Literacy 发现ation recently awarded bet365中文大学 a $10,000 grant to support bet365中文大学 Adult Basic Education programs. This local grant is part of the Dollar General Literacy 发现ation’s recent award of $10.500万美元的捐款来支持夏天, 家庭和成人扫盲计划, representing the organization’s largest one-day grant donation in its 29-year history. More than 43 million adults in the United States cannot read, write or do basic math above a third-grade level (Adult Literacy in the United States, 2019).

The program will begin in September 2022 and continue to the summer of 2023. The University hopes this will become an annual program that will provide lasting benefits to individuals and families within the community.

The Dollar General Literacy 发现ation supports organizations that increase access to educational programming, stimulate and enable innovation in the delivery of educational instruction and inspire a love of reading. 每年, the Dollar General Literacy 发现ation awards funds to nonprofit organizations, 学校, and libraries within a 15-mile radius of a Dollar General store or distribution center to support adult, 家庭, 暑期及青少年扫盲计划.
